Course title: Essentials of Effective Supervision - Section 1 Leadership Skills
Course number: S1EES1204
Course description: This course ensures that supervisory styles and strategies are in sync with what today's work force really wants and needs. Whether supervisory personnel are new, up-and-coming, or even veteran leaders, this training offers a wealth of skills and insights they can begin applying to work situations as soon as they return to the office.
Prerequisite(s): This on-line course consists of 8 sections that must be taken in sequential order since the material in each section builds on the lessons from the previous section.

Course Requirements
Introduction: This course is comprised of eight training sections containing 25 unique modules (classes). Each training section contains two or more modules.

Introduction: Students that successfully complete the entire course (all 8 sections) will earn a total of 34 hours of career development in-service training credit. In-service credit will be awarded for completion of each section as indicated below.

Requirements: Students must download and print the section handout at the start of each section. Students must complete a Self Check exercise at the start of each module. The course information will be delivered using a combination of online lecture, handouts and student activities. Students must successfully complete a Skill Builder exercise at the conclusion of each module in order to move on to the next module. The Skill Builder exercise is intended to help prepare the students for the section quiz. Students must successfully complete a section quiz in order to receive in-service credit for completing each section.
