Course title: Essentials of Effective Supervision
Course number: EES09
Course description: This course ensures that supervisory styles and strategies are in sync with what today's work force really wants and needs. Whether supervisory personnel are new, up-and-coming, or even veteran leaders, this training offers a wealth of skills and insights they can begin applying to work situations as soon as they return to the office.
Prerequisite(s): There are no prerequisites for this course.

Course Requirements
Introduction: This course is comprised of eight training sections containing 25 unique modules (classes). Each training section contains two or more modules.

This course is designed to be taught over four eight hour training days. Students should be 32 hours of career development in-service training credit for successfully completing this course.

Requirements: Students must complete a pretest at the start of each module (class). The course information will be delivered using a combination of classroom lecture, handouts and student activities (individual and group). The pretest will be reviewed at the conclusion of each class.
