Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime.
Give a man a mortgage free home and he will take out a second mortgage and be facing foreclosure four years later – or at least that’s what happened with one Extreme Home Makeover winner. A foreclosure notice was issued last week on a $450,000 second mortgage the beneficiaries of the television show took out less than 15 months ago.
