Volvo Tests DUI Prevention Vehicle
August 25, 2005 – 6:49 amVolvo is testing a vehicle that requires that drivers pass a breath analysis test. If the driver fails or if the seatbelt isn’t fastened, the vehicle won’t start. The are also consider the use of a set of ignition keys that could limit the car to a preset speed. So much for the concept of personal accountability.
