Taskbar Clean Up

Are you a taskbar “piggy”? Is your taskbar loaded with icons? Here is a tip to help clean things up. Right click an open space on your taskbar (the blue bar at the bottom of the screen where the “Start” button is located) and choose “Properties“. On the Taskbar tab under “Taskbar appearances”, click “Group similar taskbar buttons” and click “OK“.

Once you make this adjustment, Windows will stack multiple Word docs or IE sessions within one taskbar button. It’s not as good as Firefox’s tabbed browser but its as good as Windows gets for now.
