Beer and Politics

My younger brother who lives in Pennsylvania usually appears pretty sane – I mean if you don’t know him well. However, if they ever start a new campaign to “Just Say No To Beer”, he will be the poster boy.

I think most people know that when you consume alcohol you kill brain cells. Fortunately, we have so many unused brain cells that the damage generally goes unnoticed. However, if you drink enough beer over a long enough period of time, the impact of killing all those brain cells begins to manifest itself in the form of bazaar thoughts or actions.

I was just beginning to think that he had stopped drinking in time to limit the damage to his brain when he sent me an e-mail that pretty much confirmed that this was not the case. This is what he wrote:

You know what would really PISS OFF the democrats…

Bush should resign now.

Then Dick Cheney becomes president (that would really PISS OFF the liberals)!!!

Then he appoints Condoleeza Rice as vice president.

Then Cheney resigns two weeks later and Condoleeza Rice, a republican, becomes the first BLACK president and the first WOMAN president !!!

I am sure that will teach them a lesson, bro. Beer – When you want to give your brain the night off!
