Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger!

Most cops probably had that range master who constantly remindied you to keep your finger off the trigger unless you were going to fire your weapon. It has probably been a while since you attended entry level training but the message is still just as important. Check out this video of an officer who forgot this rule during the heat of the moment. Fortunately, no one was hurt but a bathroom break is probably in order.
