I was talking to a buddy of mine today and I asked him if he had finished all of his Christmas shopping. He just laughed and said, “Christmas shopping? This sexy Flash-style website gives you several gift ideas based on the information that you input about the person for whom you are buying the gift. If you see something you like, you can click on the picture and add it to your gift list. Once you finish picking out your gifts, you can e-mail your list to yourself. Of course, I thought about picking out a bunch of stuff for myself and then e-mailing it to my wife – just to make her Christmas shopping a little easier.
As a little side feature, the site also has a holiday wish page where users can light virtual candles for their loved ones. Just click on the “Make a Wish” button and light a virtual candle by sending a wish to someone via e-mail. Once the candle is lit, it is added (in real time) to the other candles from the 21 participating countries, making for a unique and truly international forum to celebrate the holidays.
