The Results of Helicopter Parenting?
December 18, 2015 – 9:56 amI have suspected that the increase in the “helicopter” parenting methodology and the decrease in holding children accountable for their actions was going to have an impact on our culture. If you couple that is the “everyone gets a trophy” crowd so we can protect our children from ever experiencing the joy of accomplishing a goal and the lessons that are learned from failure, I thought we might be raising a generation that is ill-equipped to handle the challenges of life.
